Uploading to Google Drive

My Sunday project uploading all pictures and sailing weeks as albums will at this speed take all day.
Started with the smallest folder containing just 60 pictures and per minute it uploads one picture.
For at least 15 albums containing each about 200 pictures that adds up to more than 45 hours uploading time!
Crazy!
Will see if I change laptop if I can speed it up?

Google + albums

Today I sorted and uploaded most of my pictures to Google +and then tried to share the link for all my sailing friends that came along separately for each album.
Well I just got off the phone with Torsten and he told me to access he needs an email and a password.
So Google is as restrictive as many other companies and demands you become a member fist, I guess!
Shucks, very frustrated!
It could have been so simple?!

I certainly welcome tips how to best deal with this situation, thanks!

Reunion of all participants or my crew

Still I have not found time to sort my pictures and videos. I had planned to organize a reunion meeting both in Solothurn and Mannheim to meet up and share memories in November. Now I think postponing this to February or March seems more reasonable. I want to have a movie put together and all pictures sorted according to weeks before such a meeting.
Since I have gathered some fans during my journey the meeting should be open for these to join.

In Solothurn I am looking into doing it at SolHeure and in Mannheim Speicher 7 would be my pick,same place as my farwell party.

Martin and I plan to come to Mannheim last weekend of November to visit. We will be staying with Christin, but certainly would like to meet up with as many as possible.
