Last day with Linn was dedicated to cleaning both the boat as well as my clothes in a completely new "Tvättstuga". While Linn was working inside with the radio on, I scrubbed the outside under an almost clear blue sky and started sweating. That has so far almost only happened in the sauna!
To soon it was 12.30 o'clock and Linn had all her stuff packed up to head to Stockholm and then on home to Göteborg with the 12.44 bus. We didn't even manage to have a last Latte together! Strange to part in a rush it felt, we have become such good friends! Next Latte together in Switzerland we agreed,  that is something to look forward to!

One return call in the morning opened up the possibility of Bjarne my aunts sailing enthusiastic husband to come along at the end of the week for the last bit to Åland. The only hurdle he has to overcome is getting back from Gotland with the boat to help out. So we agreed to touch base Sunday or latest Monday night.

With Linn on her way I started waiting on my new crew Rainer and Lorena from Berlin. Since all coming week will finally be nice weather, I used the time to go shopping at Pier 19 for shorts that became a sailing mini - skirt with inbuilt shorts and a striped tank top. Then I sat down at the restaurant for lunch until around 14.50 I got company!
We took it slow from there on. After bunkering food Rainer and Lorena went to watch the soccer game at Bullandö Krogen. I took the task on to change the squeezer for the mainsail,  but was about to give up because most screws were not accessible or through age so tight that I lost the fight. Just when I wanted to pack up and join the game, Lorena came back to pick up more to wear. She was so curious that with her energy and help after bonking old off and new on and cleaning off silicone, we actually managed to exchange the squeezer! Just in time for us needing a beer and a snack the game was over and Rainer returned to serve us a tastey avocado dip! Then we started the chicken game, but 55 was the highest we managed, still a long way to beat Eva's record!

Looking forward to today heading north with sailing in the sun!
