Day after Midsommar

Anchor roll
Kids in the cabin
My new crew
Good soccer lounge
On the way to boat
Magnus
Camilla at the helm

We slept in and all had breakfast at the yellow house,  just wonderful!  The only thing I could not find was my nice sunhat I had used all day before.
The new crew moved in and Martin stays another night,  so for today we were 5.
But before we headed to Oxelösund for the night, we took Camilla, Magnus and the kids out for a 2 hour sailing spin around their favorite bathing island. Ludde, Camilla and Magnus got to steer for a while all equally talented!
When we wanted to drop them off at their bathing pierTorsten through the stern anchor. Suddenly the boat came to an abrupt stop and the anchor roll was ripped out of its setting almost going over board. Torsten shed a bit of blood cutting his finger, so Dee's first aid kit got used! We managed to rescue the roll and as a consequence the anchor. Due to hardly any wind we investigated what had happened and realized that the anchor band had been wrapped wrongful around the center so it could not unroll. We opened the roll and could use the band and complete our maneuver and drop off family Björk.
Now I was alone with my new crew and at 17.50h we were fast in Oxelösund.
TO replace of the roll we have to wait until Monday for the boat shop to be open.
After having a good dinner at the only restaurant that seems to be open, we watch soccer again. Martin is just now napping during half time.
Planning for the week will take place, interesting to see what weather and else will do.

  1. Enjoying "sailing along" with your nautical adventures Sofia. What a wonderful experience for you all. Inspires me to want to get out on the water and sail again.
